Food blogger Alice Liveing made a conscious effort to start eating healthier a year ago — a decision that has since garnered her more than 110,000 Instagram followers AND a six-pack!
"After years of bad skin, constant fatigue and feeling uncomfortable about my appearance I decided to completely overhaul my approach to eating," explained Liveing, who goes by Clean Eating Alice on Instagram.
"I started experimenting with food, and found that simply changing what I ate for breakfast had a huge impact on my mood and energy for that day."

Liveing also began posting pictures of her meals on social media, which helped her keep track of what she was eating. "The term [clean eating] is completely subjective and can mean different things to different people, but my interpretation of it was to develop a healthy relationship with food," she said of her lifestyle.
"I didn’t restrict myself or feel like I was dieting as such, and learnt how best to fuel my body with tasty and nutritious food."
Along with a major change in what she was digesting, Liveing, who is from Buckinghamshire, England, also started to focus more on exercise, and now has a six-pack to show for it!

"I aim to go to the gym between four and six times a week," she shared. "I think one of the best things about this journey is that I found a way of exercising that I loved which I think is so important, and I have [weight-training program] LDN Muscle to thank for that."
But ultimately, it's her recipes that users really want! "My food isn’t complicated, expensive or pretentious nor does it require ingredients that you can’t find in your local supermarket," she added.
