Most new parents rock their baby back and forth to calm them down, but Channing Tatum takes a different approach — he beat boxes!
Jenna Dewan-Tatum stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show today, and dished on her hubby’s skill to soothe their baby girl, Everly
“As new moms know, the baby is crying and you’re like ‘what do I do to make her stop crying?’ and all the sudden [Channing] starts beat boxing and [the baby coos],” she shares. “I’m like what? I have been rocking her. I have been swaying her. I’ve been doing squats and he gets here and he’s like…I’m not going to do a really bad beat boxing but…she would just fall asleep in his arms.”

Channing, 33, and Jenna, 32, who’ve been married for three years, welcomed their little lady on May 31.
So how’s the actor as a first-time daddy?
“He's amazing. It's funny. He's so sensitive. He's like this really strong big guy in life but you give him this little baby and he's like, 'Oh my god ... Is she going to drop? Am I doing everything ok?'” Jenna says.

He even enjoys diaper-duty!
“He’s like the most amazing diaper changer,” says the brunette beauty, whose new Lifetime show, Witches of East End, premieres Sunday. “It’s like the one thing he knows he can do. He’s like, ‘Let me get in there. Let me change those diapers.’ I’m like, ‘Here you go!’”
And though they’re one of the most gorgeous couples in Hollywood, Jenna revealed that they’re very messy. Check out the cute clip below:
