The Wests are officially a family of five — but Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are making sure their first two kids don’t feel excluded following the arrival of their new baby sister. The couple is showering North and Saint with some extra love to ensure there is no jealousy over the new addition.

“Kim wants to make sure North and Saint have a lot of extra attention and feel included as well. It’s a big deal for everyone to have a newborn in the family,” a source told People. “Kim and Kanye are at home with the baby. They are so happy. They have had some visitors, but mostly Kris [Jenner] and Kourtney [Kardashian] are helping out.”

Following the arrival of Saint in 2015, Kim revealed that North was jealous of her little brother and had some hard feelings against the tot. “I don’t know if it’s because she’s the older sister. I don’t know what it is. I thought it was a phase. She does not like her brother and it’s so hard for me,” she told Live With Kelly & Ryan last year. In another interview on Kocktails With Khloé, Kim gave even more details about the sibling rivalry.

“North just beats [Saint] up all day long… she’s just awful,” the mother-of-three added. “She is so jealous, and I thought it was a phase — it’s not going away. She just says boys aren’t allowed in her room. Like, when she’s gone at school, I’m like, ‘It’s time let’s go in her room! Do whatever you want — go crazy!’” However, we have a feeling that North, now four years old, will be more mature the second time around.

“North is really excited about that,” Kim told Ellen DeGeneres of the new addition. “She’s so excited. Let’s see if it lasts. I had to explain to her, ‘Ok, four in the morning, when you come in my room, I have to be with baby sister. I have to feed her.’ We’ll see how it goes.”
