The competition is getting more and more narrow on The Voice as we get closer and closer to the live shows! Coaches Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Miley Cyrus, and Jennifer Hudson are ruthlessly cutting members from their team to narrow down their strongest contender for the Season 13 winner, which means some fan faves are going home. Keep reading below to find out tonight's results on The Voice.
Playoffs Night 1
Team Blake and Team Jennifer went up first as both coaches tried to whittle their teams down to their top three competitors. Jennifer started out with six members: Davon Fleming, Hannah Mrozak, Lucas Holliday, Shi’Ann Jones, Chris Weaver, and Noah Mac. She ultimately sent Hannah, Lucas, and Chris home. Davon sang Jennifer's hit song “I Am Changing" from the 2006 film Dreamgirls, Shi'Ann sang Ariana Grande's “Tattooed Heart," and Noah sang Phil Collins’ “In the Air Tonight" — and those performances are the reason why they're going to the live shows.
As for Team Blake, he also started out with six members: Red Marlowe, Chloe Kohanski, Natalie Stovall, Esera Tuaolo, Mitchell Lee, and Keisha Renee. Red sang Vern Gosdin’s “Chiseled in Stone," Chloe sang Cyndi Lauper's “Time After Time," and Keisha sang The Judds’ “Love Can Build a Bridge" — which earned them all spots in Blake's top three. That means Natalie, Esera, and Mitchell were cut from the team.
Playoffs Night 2
For tonight's episode, Miley and Adam will be faced with the tough task of cutting their own respective teams in half. The six members that are left on Team Miley are Ashland Craft, Moriah Formica, Janice Freeman, Brooke Simpson, Miley's steal artist Adam Pearce, and Miley's comeback artist Karli Webster. Rounding out Team Adam's top six are Addison Agen, Anthony Alexander, Adam Cunningham, Whitney Fenimore, Emily Luther, and Jon Mero.
