You would think a trending hashtag about boycotting a song would send the artist into a tizzy but not Ariana Grande. Fans have been posting “#Boycott7Rings” and it’s actually because they want more attention for the singer’s Thank U, Next album. The songstress loves her quirky fans and posted the sweetest response ensuring that she’s not stopping any time soon.

“Y’all are so insane and funny and I love u. Nothing’s funnier than ‘boycott seven rings’ … I can’t,” the 25-year-old tweeted in response to the hashtag. “Whatever’s meant to be will be, babies … I ain’t goin nowhere.”

In an unexpected turn of events, diehard Arianators aren’t listening to “7 Rings” right now but not why you might think. They simply want her third single, “break up with your girlfriend, i’m bored” to take the number one spot on the charts just like “thank u, next” and “7 Rings” did before it. Aww, you guys!

People are still trying to figure out ways to get her new single bumped up on the charts. “Sis delete ‘7 Rings’ for two days and then put it back up,” one person commented. Another fan theorized, “Honestly, they all deserve to go #1, let’s boycott a new song each week to make the next go to the top.”

The former Nickelodeon kid has had a massive few months in her career, sealing her success by winning a Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album for Sweetener.

Although she didn’t attend the awards show after a dispute with the producers, she was over-the-moon about taking home a win. “I know I’m not there tonight (trust, I tried and still truly wished it had worked out tbh),” the brunette beauty wrote after news broke that she won. “I know I said I try not to put too much weight into these things … but f—k … this is wild and beautiful. thank you so much.”

What do we want? More Ariana. When do we want it? Now.
