She’s taking her time! Unlike other celebrity mamas who just gave birth, Carrie Underwood isn’t ready to hit the gym just yet. While the country singer, 35, is hardly exempt from the superficial pressures of Hollywood, Carrie is all about putting her newborn, Jacob Bryan, first.

“Carrie is set to make her first post-baby public appearance next month and she is starting to feel the pressure to lose the baby weight. She has rehearsals and fittings for her tour coming up and knows that she will have to start focusing on work again,” a source exclusively revealed to Life & Style.

That said, the blonde beauty has definitely prioritized diapers over dumbbells. “Carrie is enjoying her time at home with the boys so much,” the source continued. “She loves just nesting and focusing on her family. She’s in no rush to get back into work mode or spend hours working out.”

Carrie, who welcomed her second child with hubby Mike Fisher earlier this year, undoubtedly has her hands full … with or without breaking a sweat at the gym. In addition to having two boys under the age of five, the “Love Wins” songstress and her handsome hockey player, 38, expanded their family with a precious pup ahead of Jacob’s birth.

No tea, no shade, but a husband, baby, 4-year-old and furbaby sounds like, well … we’re tired just thinking about it. Don’t get it twisted, though. Carrie is living her bliss. “Carrie has always been fitness obsessed and has always stayed healthy and in great shape, but naturally she gained with with her pregnancy and hasn’t been rushing to lose it. The old Carrie would’ve made losing weight a priority but she just doesn’t care as much this time around,” the source added.

“She’s really enjoying this down time and is starting to realize how hard it will be to get back to work so soon.” We stan! Take your time, girl. You look great either way.
