Kim and Kourtney Kardashian Butt Heads Over North and Penelope’s Joint Birthday Party — Watch!

In the real world, planning a kid’s party may seem like small potatoes, but for the Kardashians, it’s a major event! So much so, that the members of the famous family don’t always see eye to eye on all the details. Enter: Kim Kardashian and her older sister, Kourtney, planning North West and Penelope Disick’s joint birthday bash. 

During a sneak preview for an upcoming episode of KUWTK, the KKW Beauty mogul, 30, and Poosh.com founder, 40, butt heads over what snacks should be served on their daughters’ special day.

 

“So have you thought of any ideas for the party?” Kim asked Kourtney innocently. Note: It was the calm before the storm. “Somewhat healthy,” Kourtney clapped back immediately. “It’s Candy Land, Kourtney!” Kim replied. 

“It’s not going to be healthy no matter what, sugar is not healthy. But let’s not do the nasty stuff with, like, food coloring and gross s–t,” Kourtney argued. By this point, both siblings are heated. Kourtney recommended organic cotton candy and Kim reminded her that the party was only eight days away. 

“Kourtney has this vision of no sugar or no disgusting chemicals in candy and it’s like a completely sugar-free, gluten-free, party-free, fun-free zone because Kourtney has decided that,” Kim expressed in a private confessional. “It just doesn’t make sense and it really wasn’t the theme of what North and Penelope wanted for their birthday.”

In Kourtney’s private confessional, she said, “I can’t believe that Kim isn’t willing to compromise at all and that she doesn’t feel guilty about giving not only her kids and my kids, but all these kids coming to our party so much junk and candy. It’s such a dated vibe to be like that.” 

“Dated vibe” or not, Kim stood her ground, especially after Kourtney said having sugary snacks isn’t her “brand” or what she stands for. “Then why does your car have leather seats? Why are you wearing plastic glasses?” the SKIMS creator scoffed.

In the end, we now know that Penelope and North’s birthday party was a hit! But we certainly can’t wait to watch more drama between Kim and Kourtney unfold in the upcoming episode.
