The dedication is real! 90 Day Fiancé star Anfisa Nava (née Arkhipchenko) has changed so much since she first appeared on the reality TV series in 2016. Nowadays, Anfisa is a personal trainer, bikini athlete and bona fide fitness influencer on Instagram.
In 2019, the 24-year-old trained for her very-first bikini competition. At the time, she tracked all of her progress on social media and even shared helpful diet and exercise advice with fans.
Of course, eating like Anfisa takes some serious discipline. She starts off her day with some hearty breakfast foods consisting of scrambled eggs with veggies and an English muffin with peanut butter.
To fuel herself in the afternoon, Anfisa eats salmon with lentils, barley and spinach. When it comes to dinner, the former TLC personality sticks to the basics like chicken with sweet potatoes and broccoli. To add some extra flavor, Anfisa adds her favorite coconut aminos seasoning to her savory dishes.
Because Anfisa trains so hard, it’s not uncommon for her to snack throughout the day. Her go-to small bites include berries, chocolate covered mini rice cakes and jicama sticks. “This is not very different from what I’ve been eating before I started prep,” Anfisa previously explained of her diet. “I adjust the amounts of ingredients in each meal based on my macro goals for the day.”
Naturally, her cravings and nutritional needs change often. “If it’s a day when I can have more carbs, I make more sweet potatoes/lentils/or eat a couple more rice cakes,” Anfisa noted. “If it’s a lower-carb day, I do the opposite or switch higher-carb foods with something lower in carbs.”
Even someone as motivated as Anfisa isn’t always 100 percent. “Some days when I’m too lazy to cook a whole meal, I have a protein shake instead, but most of the time I’m able to hit my macros without it,” she added.
