Celebrities are wearing a new accessory at the Oscars this yearblue ribbons!

Loving star Ruth Negga not only looked stunning in her gown on the red carpet, but she took a stand for human rights by supporting The American Civil Liberties Union “Stand with ACLU” initiative. Ruth wasn’t the only star to support the cause — Manchester By The Sea star Casey Affleck also sported the ribbon at this year’s Film Independent Spirit Awards.

“We have been incredibly heartened by the outpouring of support for the ACLU from the entertainment community at large as we band together to protect and defend the rights and civil liberties guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution for everyone in this country,” ACLU chief communications officer, Michele Moore said in a statement.

Former Victoria’s Secret model, Karlie Kloss also showed her support for the ACLU.
