Back to her regular, sassy self! Demi Lovato has slowly been getting her life back to normal since she came out of rehabilitation treatment in September for her July overdose. But she’s not going to take any s–t while she does it. Recently, the “Sober” singer slammed a fan for tweeting that Demi’s circle was “rotten” after some drama went down when someone named Dani was fired from Demi’s team.

It all started when a fan took to Instagram to share a screengrab of their tweet, which read: “It was completely unfair to fire Dani, she’s one of the few that really cares about Demi’s health and has been helping her for [three] years, she’s surrounded by people who only care about her money but she does not see it.”

As if that wasn’t clear enough, the fan also added in the caption, “The Demi team is so rotten and she does not realize it, needs a total change, mainly from dancers pretending to be friends like @d… and others.” The fan’s Twitter account has since been suspended.

It didn’t take Demi long to respond to the post, and she put that fan in her place. “You have no idea what you’re talking about,” Demi, 26, wrote in an Instagram comment. “True friends don’t do interviews about you when you OD.”

It’s unclear who Demi and the fan were talking about because there are two people named Dani on Demi’s team: her former personal trainer Danielle Martin, and her former backup dancer Dani Vitale. But according to People, Demi made it clear that she was not talking about Dani Vitale.

In that case, it seems as though the “friend” both the fan and Demi were referencing was Danielle Martin, Demi’s former trainer who recently severed ties with the singer. “I lost my job for speaking up for her, to be honest,” The personal trainer spoke with Radar Online about what happened between her and the singer. “Pretty sad. I did nothing but empower her. Nothing bad to say. The people around her I’m sure were happy to run to her. They told her I was taking the situation and making it all about me. I’d never do that. Not ever. I was standing up for her. That’s all.”

It’s definitely not a fun situation, having your personal details out there without your permission. Neither is having to call out a fan that loves and supports you. So, we really hope that Demi gets a little peace from all the whispers surrounding her sobriety and can her groove back soon. We’re ready for the next track, girl. Cut us deep like you always do!
