Jennifer Garner Shares A New Edition Of ‘Pretend Cooking Show’ On Instagram And It’s The Best One Yet
Sigh. Jennifer Garner really is just *too pure* for this world. On Dec. 12, the mother-of-three took to Instagram to share a new episode of her beloved social media series, Pretend Cooking Show, and it’s our favorite one yet.
Basically, Jen woke up at 5:30 a.m. to bake her kids chocolate bread for breakfast. No, we’re not joking. She’s a literal angel. Anyway, things took a turn for the worst when Jen’s kitchen cabinets started rebelling. Every time the 46-year-old went to grab a new ingredient, a slamming noise would follow.
Thankfully, her kids weren’t disturbed and TBH, even if they were… their mom was baking them freakin’ breakfast, so they have nothing to complain about. “This time of year it is extra cozy to send kids to school with something warm in their bellies,” Jen captioned the precious (and hilarious) post along with a recipe.
Of course, many of Jen’s fans and fellow mothers alike flocked to the video to share words of praise! “Thank you for inspiring me this morning! My kids thank you, too,” one user commented. “Hoping this recipe gets me through the week! Figuring out breakfast before sending the kids off to school can be a real chore,” added another.
In addition to showing the actress some love, other followers offered advice on how to fix her pesky cabinets. Gotta love the internet, right? “OMG! Ikea soft close hinges for your cupboards, girl. They’re essential for early ‘surprise’ cooking,” someone suggested. “You need to put some weather stripping at the tops of the cabinets to keep them from slamming,” another fan chimed in.
Obviously, we have no idea if either of those things will fix Jen’s cabinets, but it’s nice to see people on Instagram being helpful instead of hateful. Also, before we go, we have never seen someone use a grater for butter and to say we’re impressed is the understatement of the century. Thanks for that, Jen. We love you!
