It’s almost Jerzday! Season 2 of MTV’s Jersey Shore: Family Vacation is set to premiere tomorrow, and judging by the new sneak peek of what’s to come, this upcoming season is packed with tons of drama. Cameras will follow the roomies as they all head to Las Vegas then back down the shore to their old stomping grounds in Seaside Heights — but just because they’re filming in a new location doesn’t mean they’re not dealing with the same old drama. Jenni “JWoww” Farley still has beef with Angelina Pivarnick, and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro is still in a very toxic relationship with his baby mama Jen Harley — and fans will get to watch all of that play out.

In an exclusive interview with Life & Style, members of the cast opened up about their thoughts on Ronnie’s whole relationship drama.

Jenni was the first to chime in about the social media feud between Ron and Jen that seemed to spark the drama that eventually plays out on the show. “Now that I have kids, I’m all of the mindset: ‘What is it gonna be like when she’s old enough to know what’s going on?’ So no matter what arguments Roger [Mathews] and I get into, no matter what we’re going through, we never want it to be embedded in the Internet and there for — years later — for your children to judge,” Jenni said.

“So I said, ‘No matter what you guys are going through, you gotta keep that s–t in-house,” Jenni continued. “There’s children involved now and you never want them to not like one of you because of your actions when they were alive. My kids can’t hold what I did before they were born — cause I was also a degenerate. But now that I’m a mom, I’m a degenerate mom, and I need to be like, ‘That’s not a good look for them cause they’re around.'”

It seems like Ron and Jen always had an unstable relationship and they dealt with cheating in the past before Jen got pregnant with Ron’s first child. But then Ron seemingly cheated on Jen with “French Fries” during Season 1 of JSFV, and all of the girls agreed that that’s when their relationship should have ended.

“I would have ended it when he cheated on me on national TV [while I was] seven months pregnant,” Jenni said, and Angelina suggested that Jen might not be with Ron for the right reasons.

“Yeah, what’s her motive for still being with him? It’s not because she just wants to have a family and raising the child,” Angelina said, and Jenni explained that she thinks their relationship is more of a facade.

“Maybe it’s that too,” Angelina continued. “But why would you be with a guy after he cheats on you? Especially in public — everyone saw it. It’s weird to me.”

Deena Cortese pointed out that it seems like toxic relationships follow Ronnie. “Is it him?” she asked. Either way, Jenni hinted that she’s tired of dealing with Ronnie’s constant drama.

“I also am a little annoyed at the fact that I gave him the relationship advice [at the] end of Season 1, ‘Be the man you want your daughter to be with’ — cut to all that drama, and now we’re back in Vegas dealing with all this drama again,” Jenni said. “It’s like, we wanna have a good time. We wanna be in Vegas and have a good time, not to have to do this all over again.”

Meanwhile, Ronnie’s friends Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and Vinny Guadagnino seemed to be more sympathetic towards Ron and his current situation with his baby mama.

“At that particular time in his life, he was going through a lot of tough situations and watching the show, you’ll see how he starts to get through that,” Mike said, and Vinny explained why they didn’t feel like it was their place to judge the situation because they’re not the ones living it.

“We can all sit here and say, ‘It doesn’t look like it’s working out and you guys should just co-parent and do what’s best for the baby,’ but we’re not in his shoes,” Vinny said. “We all go through that, so ultimately, my best advice for him is to find it within himself to hopefully make the right choice because we give him as much advice as we can, but something has to click from inside of him. This is his journey and he has to go through it.”

Mike agreed. “A smooth sea never made a skilled sailor,” he said, and Vinny added, “And his is pretty rocky.”
