Time to pay up, Kris Jenner! Her longtime friend Kathie Lee Gifford recently revealed that she loaned the famous momager money long before the family became a reality television success. Now, she’s looking to get reimbursed.

“Kris was having financial problems,” the 65-year-old Today star explained to People magazine. “I loaned Kris money years ago because they needed it. They were really struggling.” However, favors don’t go forgotten because the blonde beauty joked, “God damn it, I want that money back!” The first episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians aired back in 2007, but it was probably impossible to see at the time that the family was about to rise to superstardom.

Thanks to good friends, the Kar-Jenners were able to pull through during the bumps they experienced in the road. The two ladies met back in the 1970s while living in California. “We used to go to Bible study together,” Kathie dished. “We became very, very close friends.”

The celebrity continued, “She was still married to Robert [Kardashian] and the children were very little.” Kris and Robert Sr. were married from 1978 to 1991 so her friendship with the host goes way back. The lawyer tragically passed away from esophageal cancer in 2003.

Although they didn’t have their show on E! yet, Kathie promised the house was just as kooky back then. “It was an insane environment. I would be there with Frank and we would be walking in and the Jackson Five would be walking out. And then as I’m leaving, Wayne Gretzky would be walking in and then an uber-model would be, and a rapper,” she divulged. “It was like central casting. You have to see it to believe it.”

Considering there is a legit billionaire in the reality family, we would say Kris is doing just fine financially these days with her 10 percent manager fee.
