Check this craziness out: as model Kendall Jenner and NBA star Ben Simmons ramp up their relationship again after breaking things off in September, someone started a Change.org petition to keep her out of the Philadelphia 76ers home arena, the Wells Fargo Center. Um, rude. But believe it or not, 76ers co-owner Michael Rubin also thinks the petition is BS, as he feels Kendall is actually a “great influence” on Ben, according to Business Insider.

“I think it’s ridiculous,” Michael told Business Insider during a recent interview. “I think Kendall’s awesome. I’ve spent a bunch of time with her. I was with Kendall a few days ago and Kendall insisted on going home and getting a good night’s sleep when Ben wanted to stay out for a late dinner.” Talk about a supportive GF. We love that Kendall, 23, wants Ben, 22, to be at his best. “So, Kendall’s been a great influence on him,” Michael revealed.

Plus, Michael seems almost certain that the Sixers luck this season has a little something to do with Miss Jenner herself. “We’ve won every game she’s been at but one so far,” Michael noted. Honestly, it might not be the most far-fetched idea in the world — Kendall and Ben do seem pretty into each other right now, so maybe her presence gives him the extra boost he needs during the game.

Kendall has been spotted at several Sixers games to support Ben — including one with his mom! — which is a totally cute girlfriend-y thing for her to do. But the couple has also been seen in more domestic situations that would really make you “Aww!” out loud. Recently, the couple was seen out having a cute Whole Foods date and we just about died — that’s when you know things are really good with your BF, when y’all even hit the supermarket together.

Whether or not things will go the distance for Kendall and Ben, we’ll have to wait and see. But for now, we love that they’re having fun and giving the Sixers a winning streak!
