Kim Kardashian Is Being Body-Shamed for Her “Yellow” Toenail — and the Comments Are Bizarre
She can’t seem to catch a break. Kim Kardashian has been body-shamed by Internet trolls all throughout her life — remember those unflattering Mexico photos? — but this time, haters are criticizing a very unusual body part — her pinky toenail. Over the past week, Kim has been sharing photos and videos of her recent trip to Turks and Caicos and flaunting her insane bikini body. On April 14, the reality star shared a picture of her lounging on the beach with a caption about how she's finally happy with the skin she's in. “Shout out to my trainer @fitgurlmel who really changed my body,” the mother-of-three wrote. “When I wasn’t happy w [sic] what I saw back in the mirror I spent a whole year training so hard 5 or 6 days a week & changed the way i eat! SO THANK U for waking up at 5am to do crazy body building workouts.”
However, it looks like most of her followers completely disregarded her message about body positivity, and instead, decided to shame the star for having a “gross” pinky toenail. One Twitter user decided to lead the discussion by sharing a zoomed-in picture of Kim’s foot and writing, “I love u but is that ur toenail??” The same user sent a follow-up tweet that read, “im sorry, is that yellow???”
Another follower responded, “ain’t yellow, just an extra popcorn kernel that fell while she was snacking earlier,” with a third writing, “Omg she has all the money in the world but can’t get a pedicure.” But it looks like this follower spoke too soon, because Kim clapped back at all of her haters with a photo of her feet on Instagram. She showed off her newly painted toenails in the sand, and didn’t even bother to add a caption.
Kim clearly doesn't have time to drink the haterade – she's busy taking care of Chicago West and throwing shade at Tristan Thompson on Instagram. Sorry, toe-shamers. There's no room for your negativity here.
