“His situation being retold on TV is a reminder of a time in his life that should be forgotten. He should not have to be constantly reminded of it,” Simone tells the mag, adding that she could not bring herself to watch the episode that dealt with Lamar’s incident.

A scene from the Jan. 31 episode showed the terrifying events of last October, when Lamar overdosed at the Love Ranch brothel in Nevada, went into a coma and nearly died.

Adds another Odom family member, “It makes us so upset to see his situation being part of their show.”

But a Kardashian source insists they didn’t set out to use Lamar at all. “The family puts everything on TV,” notes the insider. “If anything, they think these moments are the most important because it proves they’re a normal family with normal problems.”
