Ross Travis … and Travis were teammates when Ross signed to the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad in 2015. He was a free agent at the time and made his exit from the franchise two years later.

Ross no longer plays in the NFL, but he still spends quite some time in the Arrowhead stadium cheering Travis on at home games.

In February 2024, Travis arrived in Australia to attend girlfriend Taylor’s concert and Ross joined in on the fun!

Aric Jones

The pair grew up in Ohio and they became unofficial brothers over time. When Travis made a name for himself in the NFL, he brought Aric along for the journey after he opened up his new home to him.

“I was just like, ‘Are you sure this is cool? I don’t want to be a burden on you,’” Aric told Vanity Fair in 2023. “He just sent me a picture of a bedroom and said, ‘Here’s your room. It’s waiting for you.’”

“I know we give him crap. We will not leave him alone with them. They’re too young. But Travis just has such a zest and virality for life,” the former Philadelphia Eagles center told E! News in September 2023. ​”My daughters, they’re so drawn to him immediately — partly because he’s gorgeous, but then also he’s just a fun human being. He’s exciting. He has energy for days.”

Kumar Ferguson also grew up with Travis and the pair reconnected in 2016 when the professional athlete wanted to hone in on his nutrition.

“[Kelce’s] like, ‘Hey, man, I want to take my diet seriously,’” Kumar told Startland News in September 2023. “‘You want to come out to KC and help me out with that? Whatever you want to do, I’ll help you, and we just kind of support each other.’ I was like, ‘Yeah, let’s do it.’”

The Kansas City Chief quarterback and Travis depend on each other on and off the field. Patrick opened up about his friendship with Travis in November 2023 and admitted that he considers his teammate his “brother.”

“His family and my family have almost become one family because of the relationship that we have and how we’ve kind of became these brothers on the football field,” Patrick told ESPN at the time.

The men often spend their time off the field double dating with Patrick’s wife, Brittany Mahomes, and Travis’ girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

Patrick doesn’t just cheer Travis in the arena, but he also helps the professional athlete decompress after a grueling game.

“He loves to talk about the old days,” Patrick told WSJ Magazine in November 2023 of the post-game kitchen chats with Travis’ “core group.”
