More than friends? Selena Gomez and Justin Theroux have been getting extremely close lately, but sources exclusively told Life & Style that they actually talk more behind closed doors than they let on. “They FaceTime and text late at night,” the source revealed. “[They] have intimate conversations about where they’re going in life and their career goals.”
Selena even praises Justin — who recently got divorced from Jennifer Aniston — for his writing and acting. “She was a huge fan of his HBO series The Leftovers,” the source claimed. And Justin — who is 21 years her senior — has been giving her advice. “Justin’s encouraged her to use her gifts as a singer more,” the source told Life & Style. “And given her tips on how to negotiate the acting world.”
But don’t be fooled, Selena and Justin’s talks aren’t just focused on their professional lives. “They’ve even discussed how they adore babies and how they’d each love to become a parent one day,” the source said. Not only does Selena ogle over a life with Justin, but she also sees how “mature” and “cool” he is.
And it’s not surprising that Selena acknowledges how sophisticated the actor is, either. She did just split from her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Justin Bieber, whose personality is vastly different from Justin [Theroux’s]. “She finds Justin [Theroux] to be a breath of fresh air after going through such turbulent times with her other Justin,” the source said. “Selena will always carry a torch for her ex, but right now, Justin [Theroux] is helping her take her mind off things.”
As quickly as their friendship is moving and growing, the source said nothing physical has happened between the duo just yet, but that doesn’t mean it never will! “Judging from the amount of flirting that goes on, it’s only a matter of time before they take things to the next level,” the source explained.
