It’s time for Jonas Brothers fans to rejoice because there are big chances the trio is finally back. After nearly 6 years since their split, there have been reports that Nick, 26, Joe, 29, and Kevin Jonas, 31, are working together once again.

According to Us Weekly, the band will drop “brothers” from their name and continue on solely as “JONAS.” It looks like their Disney TV series, which had the same title, is becoming a reality.

Besides dropping new music, apparently they will also release a documentary. “After enjoying solo music success and taking time to work on passion projects, they feel that now is the right time to get back together,” a source told The Sun. The outlet revealed that JB recently got together in London to further discuss the reunion.

Naturally, fans are ~ speechless, over the edge and just breathless ~ about the news. “If the Jonas Brothers actually make a comeback I think it will seriously save the world,” tweeted one person. “I heard the Jonas Brothers might possibly be making a comeback, and you already know my grown a– will be in the front row,” wrote another. Honestly, same.

A reunion has happened before, so history can repeat itself. The group took a break in 2010 and 2011 to work on solo projects. Around that time, Nick released music under Nick & The Administration, while Joe dropped a solo album, Fast Life. Kevin, on the other hand, was getting his hands on reality TV with his show Married to Jonas. In 2012, they got back together and released bops like “Pom Poms” and “First Time,” before canceling their tour and officially announcing their split the following year.

“We feel like it’s time that the Jonas Brothers comes to an end,” Kevin admitted on Good Morning America in October 2013. Nick added: “We’re family first … I came to the table with the guys … and shared my heart with them and my feelings. I said, ‘Look, I feel like we’ve had some complications within the group for a long time [and] without addressing them I think this train will fall off the tracks.'”

In January 2018, the Jonas Brothers’ Instagram account was reactivated, hyping fans up. The “Chains” singer shut down speculation of a comeback happening then, but he did restore hope. “I mean, it is not happening right now,” he later told W magazine. “Never say never. I think that there is some great things happening in all of our lives individually still and we are all focusing on that at the moment.” Now that they’ve all worked on their solo careers and dedicated time to their personal lives, maybe 2019 is really the year, so just hold on!
