Week 6 — No One

After Gerry went on hometown dates with his final three contestants, the show ended on a cliffhanger with him unable to decide between his final two women. Prior to the rose ceremony he admitted, “I’m in love with three women. I’m in an impossible situation.”

Gerry gave one of his two roses to Leslie but struggled with whether to send Faith or Theresa home. He ended up leaving the room, saying, “I feel like I’m going to throw up.” He broke into tears as he thought both remaining women could be potential life partners. “S–t! I’m dying inside,” he continued. The episode ended before Gerry made his decision and showed the remaining rose still sitting on the table.

Ellen

The retired educator was somewhat stunned by her elimination, and Gerry sat down with her following the rose ceremony, telling a tearful Ellen, “Yours, obviously, was the most difficult decision.” In the van leaving the mansion, she revealed, “It was really a shock. I just thought he was the one.”

Sandra was eliminated in the week 5 rose ceremony.

Susan went home in week 5 as well, leaving Gerry with his final three contestants.

After Nancy injured her leg in a group pickleball tournament during week four, she told Gerry he seemed to have stronger feelings for other contestants than her.
“You’re a lot more passionate with other people. I think you’ve, in a way, narrowed it down. But maybe I’m not in that group,” she confided, as Gerry confirmed, “I’m really not going to dispute that.” Through tears, Nancy told him, “I understand. I wish you the best,” and Nancy went home following their final conversation, not staying around for the rose ceremony.
