Even though Kelly Clarkson won American Idol, she still chose to be a part of The Voice, and it looks like fellow American Idol alum Jordin Sparks may follow in her footsteps!

Jordin watched AI last season but says that it’s “different now that it’s on a different network.” However, she loves a show “that gives people a chance to live their dreams because I know what it’s like.” So, would the 28-year-old want to be an American Idol judge alongside Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie?

“Yes, absolutely. I would. I would for that show and I probably would for another,” the “No Air” singer told Life & Style exclusively at Febreze’s #FebrezeYourGear event.

She continued, “Just because if this was like eight years ago, I probably would be like no, only Idol, but there’s so much amazing talent and there are so many different platforms that it’s like, it would be amazing to be able to see and try different platforms and try a different way of a music competition. The way The Voice does something is different than Idol did it, it’s different than America’s Got Talent, all of it.”

Jordin, who is a new mama to her son, DJ, says that she has grown into herself over the past few years and feels more confident than ever. “If this was a few years ago, I would say, no, I don’t really feel comfortable because I know what it feels like to be judged but now that it has been 11 years, I am like, I feel like I have something to say. I feel like I could actually help and really help mentor and help them get to the best of their abilities.” Yas, girl!

The singer won American Idol in 2007 and knows a thing or two about the music industry. It sounds like she would give some of the contestants great advice.

We’d love to see these two powerhouses reunite on The Voice or just in general!
