In the world of pro wrestling, they call this a "swerve." Just weeks after calling off their wedding, John Cena and Nikki Bella’s nuptials are back on — and they’re not going to look anything like the big ceremony the WWE stars originally had planned.

"They’re telling friends that they’re ready to commit again," an insider tells Life & Style. "Only this time they say they’re eloping, [and] they’re keeping the location hush-hush!" the insider added.

The Total Divas star, 34, was set to walk down the aisle with her longtime boyfriend, 41, on May 5, but called things off with just three weeks to go. Now with John saying he’s finally reconsidered his long standing refusal to have kids, things are back on track. But friends aren’t convinced everything will work out.

"With John and Nikki, you never know what you’re going to get," the insider warns. "Until we have video proof of them saying 'I do,' no one is going to believe they went through with it."

Friends and family aren’t the only ones who are going to have trouble believing Nikki and John — but fans, too! According to In Touch Weekly, sources are suggesting that their entire breakup was for publicity.

"Don’t forget, they’re professional wrestlers, and the name of the game is hype, hype and more hype. It was all done for ratings," an insider explained. The timing was definitely more than a little suspicious! After all, the couple announced their split on April 15 with Season 3 of Total Bellas set to premiere on May 20.

Turns out, however, that karma may have gotten the best of them. In Touch also reports that the Season 3 premiere had the lowest ratings the reality series has ever seen — with only 517,000 viewers. "It was all an act. Fake news at its finest!" an insider concluded. Just goes to show that it's not cool to lie to the people who are rooting for you.
