Justin Bieber, Who? Selena Gomez Thrives With New Puma Partnership
Work, work, work! Selena Gomez is keeping busy in the wake of her rumored split with Justin Bieber as she just announced a new collaboration with Puma. Not only is she promoting the all-white style sneaker known as, Phenom Lux, but also lent her creative ideas to the brand’s sheer sock.
She told Vogue, “I’ve been wearing some fun socks with my sneakers and it just makes me feel a little bit more feminine. I spent a lot of time creating a sock that felt comfortable, chic, and fun.” Selena has been spotted wearing these particular Puma sneakers for months — and now her fans will be able to rock the same kicks with this launch — at the gym, the studio, and at a black-tie gala for the Lupus Research Alliance.
The sneakers are designed with a gold anklet chain which Selena said, “makes me feel womanly and makes me feel cool.” She explained, “It gives you a little bit of sparkle, and it can make you feel like you’re dressed up even when you’re in sweats.”
And while the 25-year-old seems to be publicly thriving with this new collaboration, she has yet to address the rumors surrounding her personal life. She and Justin have reportedly been taking some time apart in the past several weeks — he was caught hanging out with blonde bombshell Baskin Champion while Selena spent some time in Australia cuddling up to a female friend.
However, a source told [E! News](http://www.eonline.com/shows/enews/news/923198/justin-bieber-and-selena-gomez-are-they-moving-on-from-each-other)_ it might actually be more serious than just time away from each other. “Selena realized even though he’s made some positive improvements, they just aren’t a perfect match right now.” On the flip side, Justin has reportedly been super upset about their time apart and “is trying to keep busy until they work things out.”
As for Baskin — the girl he’s been leaning on — the source said it’s nothing serious. “Justin was introduced to Baskin through his friend group and they have only hung out a few times. He has definitely been liking her company, but to say they are dating is a huge stretch. Justin isn’t trying to be serious with anyone but Selena.”
