It’s only been a few weeks since Amy Schumer welcomed her son, and already, she’s getting criticized for her parenting. However, the comedian, 37, is choosing to respond to mom-shamers with kindness.

The I Feel Pretty star took to Instagram to gracefully shout out the haters. “Sending out love to the moms shaming me for doing standup last night!” she captioned a photo of herself pumping her breasts and added, “#tinystairs#schumerpumprules pic by @mofischhh”

This isn’t the first time she addressed the trolls. On May 20, she shared a photo of herself doing standup. After several people took to the comments to criticize her for being out and about just two weeks after giving birth, one person made it clear she was being mom-shamed. Amy took it as a rite of passage. “And … Here comes the mom shaming … ugh,” wrote a fan, to which Amy replied, “I’ve always wanted to be mom shamed!” Well, it finally happened.

The blonde beauty welcomed her first child, Gene, with her husband, Chris Fischer, on May 5 — just in time for Mother’s Day. For the first holiday with her baby boy, Amy shared a heartfelt message about parenthood. “OK here’s my post-baby annoying post and my takeaway from pregnancy,” she began her Instagram caption. “Women are the s—t. Men are cool and whatever but women are f—king warriors and capable of anything.”

“I was lucky enough to get to have a doula. Her name @domino_kirke @carriagehousebirth,” she explained regarding her birthing process. “What do doulas do? I don’t totally know. But what she did was make me and Chris feel totally secure and supported throughout my pregnancy and the birth process. I really recommend getting one if you can.”

She touched on her pregnancy complications such as her struggle with Hyperemesis, and to conclude, she thanked her loved ones. “All my friends. Friends I’ve had for 30 years or people who encouraged me to ‘keep going’ or telling me ‘it will be worth it.’ Thank you,” she added. “Every woman I encountered is so willing to help and advise you and I felt all their strength. And you were right. Thank you ladies from my family. Chris, Gene and of course Tatiana.” How sweet!
