Friends Say Carrie Underwood Is Pregnant, Expecting Twins With Husband Mike Fisher (EXCLUSIVE)
Just a few months after her scary accident, Carrie Underwood has some happy news to share. The country singer is pregnant and expecting twins with husband Mike Fisher, her friends revealed!
“One of her friends let it slip,” an insider told Life & Style exclusively. “Carrie’s wanted a little sister for Isaiah ever since he was born — so she’d have to be ecstatic with the news of two. There’s no doubt that Carrie and Mike would spoil the girls rotten!” Last November, Carrie was left with over 40 stitches on her face after a nasty fall while taking her dogs on a walk on her property.
The 35-year-old scared fans when she did return to social media, but covered up her injury with a scarf. “I am determined to make 2018 amazing and I want to share things with you along the way,” she wrote at the time. “And when I am ready to get in front of a camera, I want you all to understand why I might look a bit different.”
However, it wasn’t until earlier this month that the blonde beauty finally showed her face for the first time — and opened up about the traumatizing ordeal. “In the beginning, I didn’t know how things were going to end up. It just wasn’t pretty,” she told Hoda Kotb on The Today Show. “I have a dedicated team of professionals who can spackle and paint and paste. Every day I’m feeling a little more back to normal.”
Now, according to her pals, she hopes the exciting baby news will shift people’s attention away from her injury. “This is just what Carrie needs — she’s tired of constantly talking about the accident,” the source explained before adding how Carrie enjoyed quality time with her husband and Isaiah, 3, for a full five months while recovering in Tennessee. “And Mike’s always said he wanted a household full of kids!” Congrats to the happy couple!
