While Catherine Paiz and Austin McBroom have been engaged since 2017, the 29-year-old revealed that she and her 27-year-old beau actually secretly got married a while back.

“Although we have publicly shared some special moments throughout the years, our marriage was not one of them,” she tweeted on January 2. “We got married a couple years ago in private in our backyard. We look forward to having our ceremony in the future where our parents, friends and family will attend … But for a while it was just our moment to call ours.”

The YouTuber also clarified why she recently changed her last name on social media. It turns out, it had nothing to do with waiting to reveal the exciting news to fans. “I could have changed it a long time ago but i wasn’t able to do it myself for security reasons and I also forgot the email and password to the new account name LOL,” she replied to a fan’s tweet. “Eventually, I made a point to reach out to IG to do it for me.”

It’s been a whirlwind of days for the Ace Family, who also announced they’re pregnant with their third child. The couple already shares two daughters — 3-year-old Elle and 14-month-old Alaïa — so this will be their first son.

“I wanted to keep you to myself for as long as I could and now after all these months of privately enjoying some time with our family, I am filled with so much joy to share you with the world,” she wrote on Instagram. “You were the missing puzzle piece, I can’t wait to meet you son.”

Austin also had some sweet things to say about being a dad for the third time. “I am the happiest father in the world with two beautiful princesses and soon-to-be handsome son,” he wrote.

Their pregnancy caught fans by surprise — especially because Catherine showed no sign of a baby bump. However, she had a few tactics on how to keep it on the DL. “I was sucking in on every shot,” she captioned a photo from the fam’s “Giddy Up” music video. “Not to mention I was about to throw up and felt nauseous the whole time.”

It all worked out, though. Congrats!
