Lizzo Just Joined the Cast of ‘Hustlers,’ As If It Wasn’t Already Star-Studded Enough!
Musician Lizzo is taking the world by storm. The “Juicy” singer, 30, is making her live-action debut in the film Hustlers. She will be joining Jennifer Lopez, Cardi B, Lili Reinhart, Keke Palmer and Julia Stiles.
Prior to this, she made her animated-film debut with UglyDolls, in which she costarred alongside Nick Jonas and Kelly Clarkson. Something tells us Lizzo is a face we’ll be seeing frequently. She’s a singer, songwriter, and flautist, who recently dropped Cuz I Love You, an album full of bops.
Hustlers is “inspired by a 2016 New York Magazine article by Jessica Pressler and follows a crew of savvy former strip club employees who band together to turn the tables on their Wall Street clients,” according to Deadline.
As of late, Jennifer, 49, has been spotted in character filming in New York City. The “Get Right” singer is extra dedicated to having the best bod for the role and we can tell the hard work is paying off. Jen’s “life revolves around exercise,” a source recently confessed to Life & Style. “J. Lo easily spends more hours at the gym every day than she does anywhere else, including her home, and she’d spend more time there if she had it,” the insider continued.
The gym isn’t the only place she’s going. Jenny from the block is pole dancing too. “I have bruises everywhere … It’s so hard. I have a lot of respect for people who do the pole,” she told Jimmy Kimmel during a recent interview.
Riverdale’s Lili also got candid about her adventures with pole dancing, as seen in a pic posted to her Instagram Story on April 18. “Really nailing this whole pole thing. #Hustlers,” the 22-year-old wrote on a pic of herself hanging upside down on a pole while wearing a black crop top with black disco shorts and heels.
