Things are getting bigger and better for Vanderpump Rules star Billie Lee! The 35-year-old actress and activist sat down with Life & Style to give exclusive details on the bombshell tweet from costar Jax Taylor about her “no longer” appearing on the show — and if there’s any truth to his statement.

“Honestly, I feel like there’s a little truth to it only because I have amazing opportunities happening with me right now,” the reality star revealed. “And, also, I’m just needed in the trans community as an activist. So I’m not filming as much.” But don’t get it twisted, because our girl is still running around Lisa Vanderpump‘s most famous eatery … just not as much as she used to.

“I am still part of the show. I just hosted brunch with Billie at SUR. But honestly, it’s not my priority. SUR is not my priority anymore,” Billie explained about moving on from the restaurant. “And that’s just because I am focused on my community and I have amazing opportunities coming my way and a lot of those opportunities have just pulled me a different direction.”

Though it’s a little bit of a bummer to hear that a fan favorite like Billie may be on the show less, it’s great to know we’ll start seeing more of her elsewhere. “But, as of right now, I’m still there and as of right now, I’m still filming,” the Bravo babe assured.

Jax Taylor's Tweet About Billie Lee Leaving 'Vanderpump Rules'
Twitter

Jax’s tweet about Billie’s status on the show came in response to the fact that he and his now-wife Brittany Cartwright had decided not to invite their castmate to their Kentucky nuptials on June 29. He’d tweeted previously he “invited every gay person except Billie,” to which a fan responded telling him the SUR hostess wasn’t gay.

“That’s great, me not inviting her has nothing to do with her sexuality. We are not friends,” Jax, 39, responded to the fan on June 13. “She’s no longer working at [SUR] and no longer on our show. I’ve spoken to her maybe 4 times personally in my life. I wish the best for her in her future.”

He has since deleted the tweet, but it definitely got fans questioning Billie’s place on next season of the reality hit. Now we know.

Billie Lee has teamed up with Regenix for their Beauty Has No Gender campaign. A portion of proceeds from the Billie Lee Repair Bundle are being donated to Equality California Non Profit to help fuel the fight against bullying.
