She has babies on the brain — sort of! In an exclusive interview with Life & Style, Kelly Rowland opened up about having another child with her husband, Tim Weatherspoon. The happy couple tied the knot in 2014 and are already parents to a three-year-old son, Titan Jewell.
"We [talk about it], but now is not the time. I'm pretty much wrapping up my album and have things coming up next year that I'm extremely excited about, so once that process dies down, I'm definitely trying to get knocked up again!" she shared. For now, the songstress is just loving being a mother to her little boy. "He is my star and his dad's star and we just absolutely love him. I mean, his favorite group is A Tribe Called Quest — whenever we get in the car he asks to hear them first. He LOVES quoting, 'Ya'll think small. I think biggie.' He's definitely like a hip-hop kid, which is really interesting."
Kelly also wouldn't turn down the idea of her little boy shining in the spotlight. "I think that after meeting other parents who have kids who grew up in the industry, and I grew up in the industry — I feel like my son would be just fine, because we would be protective, but allow him to be able to express himself creatively. I think that you have to give that out, whenever there's that — for instance, that obviously means you have to give it out, so we would support him. For sure," she shared.
Life & Style spoke with the mother-of-one as she teamed up with Johnson & Johnson for their Make HIV History campaign. "When they told me they were doing this HIV campaign, and I was so excited to be part of it, because HIV is one of the most pressing public health challenges of our time — and it's just so great to me, to see a huge corporation like Johnson & Johnson, that they're so passionate about it. I'm passionate about it, so this is just kind of like, the perfect marriage. I'm very excited about being in the family," she stated.
