That didn’t take long. Kevin Wendt, a fireman from Canada, is heating up The Bachelor Winter Games but some girls are already getting burned. Kevin quickly got the attention of Bachelor veteran Ashley Iaconetti — who essentially made him her Jared Haibon of the season.

“Kevin is the Canadian Ben Higgins. He’s so fricking adorable,” she said. “I am going for Kevin. A virgin’s got to do what a virgin’s got to do.” However, her feelings weren’t reciprocated and the international reality star chose former Miami cheerleader Bibiana Julian for his one-on-one date, which means that Ashley was soon fighting back tears. Who are we kidding? She was full-on Ashley I. sobbing.

“It’s literally been a pattern the last two years. I just don’t know what I’m doing. Friendzone central,” she said. “Why does this always happen? Why does it always happen? I don’t get it. It sucks. Like, the one guy I had interest in, of course, went on a date tonight. Why don’t I ever get picked?”

However, we don’t blame Kevin, 32, for unknowingly breaking Ashley’s heart. Kevin’s claim to fame was on the Canadian version of The Bachelorette where he proposed to blonde beauty Jasmine Lorimer. However, after just five months the couple called it quits and now he is back to find love across the border. “I trying to approach this with a completely fresh mindset,” he said on the reality dating competition.

So, what else do we know about Kevin? According to his cast bio, he is a “family man at heart,” he talks to his mom every day and is a self-proclaimed man chasing experience. Plus, if you need some daily eye candy, we highly recommend following Kevin on Instagram. “Kiss a little more, think a little less. Words we all need to live by,” he captioned a recent selfie.
