It’s safe to say Lizzo fans are not feeling ~good as hell~ after finding out the pop star decided she’s taking some time off from Twitter.

The 31-year-old announced her break on Sunday, January 5, to focus on her mental health after seeing lots of negativity. “Yeah I can’t do this Twitter s–t no more … Too many trolls …  I’ll be back when I feel like it,” she tweeted.

Fans flooded the replies with supportive comments. “Please know for every troll, there are so many genuine fans here to show love and support. We’ve got your back QUEEN! Hope you come back to us soon!” wrote one person. “No, don’t go queen. You’re so beautiful,” commented another.

While the brunette beauty is deciding to not give the haters attention, in December, she clapped back at someone who claimed “Lizzo is popular is because there is an obesity epidemic in America. Rather than encouraging people to do better, we are simply lying to them and telling them that they are just fine the way they are.”

The singer gracefully gave them a piece of her mind. “I’m popular because I write good songs and I’m talented and perform high energy hour and a half shows filled with love,” she quote-tweeted at the time. “The only person who needs to do better is you. Keep my name out ya mouth and look in the mirror before you come for me. Here’s the attention you ordered.”

For the most part, Lizzo is always active on social media to connect with her fans. She often uses her platform to promote positivity and encourage fans to have a healthy self-esteem.

“I take self-love very seriously,” she told Elle in October. “And I take it seriously because when I was younger, I wanted to change everything about myself. I didn’t love who I was. And the reason I didn’t love who I was is because I was told I wasn’t lovable by the media, by [people at] school, by not seeing myself in beauty ads, by not seeing myself in television … by lack of representation.”

We hope she feels better and comes back to Twitter soon!
