Dance superstar Maddie Ziegler has even more reason to celebrate the first of every January. New Year's Day happens to be her anniversary with boyfriend Jack Kelly! And she seems thrilled this Aussie dude has danced into her life, to say the least.
As far as the Internet can tell, Jack is Maddie's first real relationship. Granted, Who's Dated Who does say Maddie had an "encounter" with Dance Moms co-star Gino Cosculluela, but that was probably the kiss we witnessed on the Lifetime show. (Afterward, on YouNow, he called her "ugly" and "a brat" and said he threw up after their kiss.)
Anyway, Maddie and Jack celebrated their one-year anniversary this Jan. 1. Maddie marked the joyous occasion on Instagram, writing, "2018! Today is such a special day for us. It's been one year with the most amazing boy I've ever met. We've grown so much together, and I'm so thankful for all of the laughs and smiles together! … I've never been so happy. I love you so much. Here's to one year and many more to go."
Jack returned the kind words, saying, "Happy one year to the most beautiful girl! Words can't describe how important you are to me. I'm the luckiest guy to have someone as special as you in my life. So glad you've come back to me. Love you forever and always."
Plus, as if to prove their young love is "The Greatest," these 15-year-olds have been Instagramming photos from their dates. They went to Disneyland in April 2017, for example — with Maddie calling the excursion "one of the best days ever" and then went to Six Flags the following month.
But some of their outings are more of the "Cheap Thrills" variety. They've gone shopping together, they've gone bowling, they've gone to the beach, and they've posed for photos under the Urban Lights at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Meanwhile, Jack has also hung out with Maddie's best friends and her younger sister, all of whom have clearly given him their stamp of approval. And on occasions when they were just hanging out alone, Maddie got Jack to wear a face mask, and he got her to let him apply her makeup. (Now if she got him to dress up in her "Chandelier" wig and leotard, we'd be really impressed.)
