Mama June Accuses Ex-Husband Sugar Bear of Abuse — But He Fights Back
One year after calling it quits, Mama June is accusing her ex-husband Sugar Bear of physical and emotional abuse.
The From Not to Hot star, who dropped to a size 4 following her divorce, revealed that her relationship with her ex-husband is “non-existent” for a reason.
“There was just so much emotional and physical abuse,” she told Life & Style exclusively when asked if she would ever take him back. “I just choose not to put my kids through that.”

She also had some words of warning for Sugar Bear’s new wife, Jennifer Lamb.
“Watch out,” June said before announcing a special featuring her ex. “You saw a little bit on Marriage Boot Camp, but this shows the real true side of Sugar Bear, and when the special comes out y’all are going to be like, ‘What the hell?!'”
The mother-of-four went on to explain that Sugar Bear (whose real name is Mike Thompson) isn’t in contact with their daughter Alana, aka Honey Boo Boo.
On Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars, the couple opened up about their marital issues — and his cheating with both men and women.
“Don’t bring this up with nobody else ’cause I don’t want this out there: I have experimented with guys,” he told June on the show. “It’s just something I was curious about, experimented with it, and it’s over with and done with, and that’s it. [It] won’t ever happen again.”

Sugar Bear has since denied her abuse claims. “The abuse allegations are not true,” he recently told Entertainment Tonight. “It is not true, any of it.”
As for his relationship with Alana, the 45-year-old stated, “June won’t let me see or talk to [her]. I have text messages where I text June and try to talk to Alana, but [get] no response back from her. The last time I saw Alana was at mine and Jennifer’s wedding.”
We hope the exes will be able to work through their drama.
