Throwback! Miley Cyrus has been feeling pretty nostalgic these days. On Tuesday, April 2, she posted a few clips of herself jamming out to High School Musical, basically bringing us back to the good old Disney days.
She began her car ride jam session with “Stick to the Status Quo.” “I’m glad it’s 2019. We’re challenging this garbage,” she said, while writing “#NoQuo” and tagging HSM stars Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron. Then, she changed the song to what probably became Disney Channel’s most iconic duet: “Breaking Free.” The pop star belted her heart out in this one and wrote we all think about the classic bop. “This shaped a f—king generation,” she captioned it. So true!

Lastly, she brought it back all the way to 2003 when she played Hilary Duff’s “So Yesterday.” “So yesterday/ so yesterday / I’m just a bird that’s already flown away,” she sang, tagging the singer. The Insta Stories that followed after explain why she had a Disney-filled car ride. The Hannah Montana alum visited Disneyland and snapped pics with all of the park’s major characters.
This isn’t the first time Miley has been bringing it back to her Disney roots. In fact, she’s been doing it a lot lately. The Last Song actress has been sharing plenty of old photos related to the Jonas Brothers or other former Disney Channel stars like Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez. She took it a step further when she changed her hair to look like her famous character, Hannah Montana.

“You know guys, it was so hard going back and forth that I decided that I’ll just be Hannah forever,” she joked about her new ‘do. She even posed with her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, who also played her dad in the TV series. “
#HannahMontana & @billyraycyrus,” she captioned the pic. It looks like not much has changed!
