Jameela Jamil Points Out Khloé Kardashian Deletes Her Diet Shake Post: ‘There Is Hope’
Speaking your mind pays off. On March 22, Jameel Jamil slammed Khloé Kardashian for endorsing meal replacement diet shake products on Instagram, and it looks like the 34-year-old reality star got the message because she deleted the photo of the ad just two weeks after the backlash.
“Oh look. Khloe deleted her diet shake post… There is hope after all…” The Good Place actress, 33, tweeted on April 2, along with a screenshot of Koko’s Instagram profile. It comes to no surprise that Jameel noticed the Good American founder took action as she’s very passionate about the subject. Last month, she left Khlo a very lengthy comment on the now-deleted post.
“If you’re too irresponsible to: a) own up to the fact that you have a personal trainer, nutritionist, probable chef and a surgeon to achieve your aesthetic, rather than this laxative product…And b) tell them the side effects of this NON-FDA approved product, that most doctors are saying aren’t healthy […] then I guess I have to,” she wrote.
“It’s incredibly awful that this industry bullied you until you became this fixated on your appearance. That’s the media’s fault. But now please don’t put that back into the world, and hurt other girls, the way you would have been hurt. You’re a smart woman. Be smarter than this,” she concluded.
While Khloé never directly answered Jameela’s claims, she did address them in a recent interview with The New York Times. “Well, listen, I am showing you what to do, silly person, 15 repetitions, three times, here’s the move …” she said, also stating that she’s never employed a chef.
Kim Kardashian then chimed in to defend her little sis and their family. “You’re going to get backlash for almost everything so as long as you like it or believe in it or it’s worth it financially, whatever your decision may be,” she said. Finally, mama Kris Jenner weighed in with what seems to be the biggest mood of all. “I don’t live in that negative energy space,” she told the outlet. Preach!
