Business owner turned reality star Peter Kraus has captured America’s attention! Fans can’t stop talking about the 31-year-old Wisconsin native, who’s made it to the top three of Rachel Lindsay season of The Bachelorette.
The businessman slash personal trainer slash model (he wears a lot of hats!) is not only easy on the eyes, but he’s also business savvy. Peter owns and operates Worth Personal Training, where he helps people improve their lives through exercise.
“My passion for fitness began early, playing baseball, soccer, basketball and football through my high school years,” Peter explains on the business’ website. “But at the age of 19, I developed an eating disorder while pursuing a modeling career, and my health and fitness began to rapidly decline. I realized that I hadn’t the slightest idea of what it meant to be truly fit or healthy, and in the winter of 2007, I hit rock bottom. So that spring I decided that it was time for a change and enrolled myself in the dietetics program at Madison College.”
For the entrepreneur, his business is deeply personal. Now, Peter holds a degree in Dietetics and is a Certified Personal Trainer. He trains people of all fitness levels, ages, and abilities, but his passion lies in weight loss and injury rehab. And he’s been super successful in his endeavors. The trainer appeared on The Biggest Loser in 2010 and was voted Fitness Manager of the Year in 2011.
“I fell in love with personal training the moment that I started,” he continues. “The ability to help someone overcome the same fears and doubts that I once had and develop the power to make drastic life changes, provided me with a sense of pride that I had never felt before. I found great joy in seeing my clients’ success.”
