Well, this time she thought ahead, and decided to remind fans where she stands with Ronnie… which is nowhere, because she has a hot boyfriend that she’s totally obsessed with. Before the May 17 show, she shared a cuddly new snap with her beau, and she looked happier than ever.

This wasn’t the first time Sammi’s shown off her new beau.Things got particularly awkward during a former episode of Jersey Shore when Ronnie blatantly said he still loved Sammi, despite having a pregnant girlfriend at the time (who has since dumped his ass, and then got back together). “Every man wishes he could be with the love of his life,” he said during his confessional. “Being with someone for seven years and then you don’t end up with person? Yeah, it hurts.”

In response to that episode, Sammi posted a sexy shirtless selfie with her new beau with the caption “#Bestie” and “#UghILOVEthisman.” Was that just convenient timing or was the former reality star trying to send her ex Ronnie a message? You be the judge, but to us it seemed like she was acknowledging that she dodged a major bullet with Rahn.

But you know who this whole situation was probably the most painful for? Ron’s girlfriend Jen Harley, who was seven months pregnant when they filmed the show. Ron sorta-kinda-almost cheated on her. In a recent ep, Ronnie got a little too close for comfort with a French woman named Antonia (aka French Fries), who he met in the club and brought home. “You’re beautiful. You’re gorgeous. You’re going to get me into a lot of trouble,” Ronnie told Antonia. After the camera filmed Ronnie and Antonia going behind closed doors, an emotional Ronnie ended up sending Antonia home. Afterward, he proceeded to have a heart-to-heart with co-star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi.

“What the f–k happened to you?” Snooki asked Ronnie. “You’re being so negative! Why can’t you marry this b—h?” she added, referencing his baby mama, Jen. Ronnie responds, “Because she’s not…” and to keep him from finishing his sentence — which we ALL know was going to end with “Sam” — Snooks put Ronnie out of his misery and finished it for him. “Because you f–king love Sam? I can’t. Listen, you need to stop. Stop!” the mom-of-two said.

It was a revelation that surprised literally no one. From fans of the series to the roommates themselves, everyone kinda saw it coming, especially Deena Nicole Cortese, Sammi’s best friend. “I knew it!” Deena says. “And that’s why she’s not here.” Judging by the fact that Jen called him “abusive” and shared a scary video of one of their fights that got physical, we’d say Sammi made the right choice.
