‘Vanderpump Rules’ Stars React to Tom, Ariana Split Amid Raquel Scandal: ‘Karma Is Indeed Coming’

The TomTom co-owner was in the hot seat during an April 5, 2023, appearance on Watch What Happens Live! With Andy Cohen. Schwartz was asked a series of questions regarding Scandoval and didn’t shy away from answering them honestly … even if his responses were brutal.

When asked if he thinks Sandoval and Raquel’s romance is the real deal, he admitted, “I think it’ll be a miracle if they make it.”

Schwartz continued, “Their relationship is, you know, I know they care so much about each other but, like, even in the short time that they’ve been ‘in love’ or whatever you want to call it, it’s become toxic and I just I don’t know if it’s sustainable. It’s already toxic as it is and then you add in, you know, the entire nation thinking you guys are scumbags. I think it’s too much, but we’ll see if love prevails.”

Although Peter called Tom and Raquel’s affair a “shocker” during an appearance on “Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef” podcast, he admitted he “saw some things” that gave off some red flags during his brief romance with the beauty queen.

However, he ignored the suspicious behavior because he thought, “‘Sandoval is loyal to Ariana. He would never do something like that.’”

Peter wondered if Raquel going out with him was just a “ploy” to distract people from her romance with Tom, who he said he is “disappointed” in.

“I thought she was a good person, but then again, I hardly knew her,” he says of Raquel.

“I’m team Ariana 25/8,” Kristen shared via her Instagram Story.

She went on to say that she and Ariana “have been really good friends for many, many years now.”

“Karma is indeed coming, so Raquel should just move home,” she wrote over the video.

Kristen, who dated Sandoval from 2007 to 2013, revealed she was with Ariana when she found the sexually explicit video of Raquel on his phone.

“Ariana had [Sandoval’s] phone and she told me she just had this gut intuition to look at it,” she said during a March 8 episode of the ​“Sex, Love and What Else Matters” podcast. “She went into his photos – he had screen recorded a FaceTime of he and Raquel.”

Kristen went on to say Ariana called Raquel, who “casually” admitted the affair to Scheana while on the phone with Ariana. Scheana then threw Raquel’s phone in the gutter.

While giving an update on Ariana and Sandoval, Kristen revealed he went to their shared home unannounced after the news broke and said, “it’s his home” and “Ariana can leave if she doesn’t feel comfortable.”

Ariana’s brother chimed in to say that the “lifestyle” of the Vanderpump Rules stars is “beyond toxic.”

“I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. All just for clout from a corny ass network like BravoTV,” he commented under James’ post. “Toms a try hard having a midlife crisis with his cringy band and Raquel has faked her way to the top trying to make something of her life willing to step on whoever to get there starting with James. Sell out type lame shit. Let’s all remember that Raquel was a fan of the show before all of this. Does anyone pay attention? [sic]”

Katie Maloney made an Instagram post dedicated to Ariana on March 5, 2023.

“You are going to thrive like you were always meant to!” her caption read.

The Vanderpump Rules alum broke her silence on #Scandoval by commenting, “100%” with a heart emoji under the post.

However, Stassi really shared her thoughts on the affair between Sandoval and Raquel during a March 8, 2023, episode of the “Straight Up With Stassi” podcast.

She addressed the theories that Raquel and Schwartz made out to cover for her affair with Sandoval, admitting that she believes it’s true.

Stassi recalled a past conversation with Katie, who told her, “Schwartz isn’t interested in Raquel and Raquel’s not even interested in Schwartz. … This doesn’t feel real.”

The Off With My Head author was also seemingly stuck on words to describe the lewd behavior.

“Knowing what [Raquel’s] been doing for over half a year and to be able to lie like that – it’s an evil that I haven’t met before. With both her and Tom,” she said. “Everything I thought I knew of evil, wasn’t.”

A Bravo fan account begged to hear Jax’s thoughts on the scandal since he is no longer on the show.

The VPR star seemingly responded to the shocking news via Twitter on March 3, 2023. She shared how she felt nobody should feel “gut punched” by such behavior and expressed how “disappointed” she was.

Raquel’s sister, Kate, responded to the tweet, writing, “Nor, punched in the face … Not defending, just also not condoning physical violence.”

Less than one week later, Peter broke his silence on the situation during an appearance on the “Alison Rosen Is Your New Best Friend” podcast, reacting to the time Raquel referred to Peter as a “starting pony” when they casually dated.

“I’m nobody’s starter pony,” he said. “I always keep an even keel, but, my God, who the hell do you think you are? … Who the f–k do you think you are?”

Peter then noted that while he has been buddies with Tom, he supports Ariana.

“I’m very team Ariana, and I’ve been friends with Tom forever, but, man, this is beyond f–ked up,” he added.

The boss shared her sadness about the cheating rumors and breakup after Andy Cohen asked “how many parts is too many parts” for the VPR season 10 reunion.

“Ummm one … I’m not sure my heart is up to it,” she tweeted on March 4, 2023.

Schwartz broke his silence on “Scandoval” on March 11, noting that Sandoval “has a sense of profound sadness.”

“I think he feels like a piece of s—t, and to some extent, maybe he is,” he said in a video obtained by TMZ. “But he knows he f—ked up. The whole thing is just really sad.”
