This is such a tragedy. Brad Womack‘s contestant on The Bachelor Cristy Caserta has died at just 36 years old. “I can confirm that a 38-year-old woman identified as Cristy Caserta passed away on October 4, in the early morning at 9 AM, while attending a training class — it was not an exercise class but in a classroom setting,” Officer Fernandez of the Sunrise Police Department explained.

“She was pronounced deceased at the scene at 9 AM, but medical units were still trying to revive her on the way to the hospital at Westside Regional. An autopsy is expected to be conducted at 4 PM today.” According to reports, police do not suspect any foul play or drugs.

Cristy appeared on Season 15 of The Bachelor but sadly, Brad Womack sent her home after the first week. That said, she was much more than just a brief TV personality. As per Cristy’s Bachelor audition video from 2011, the Florida native worked as an attorney. She also mentioned a few of her favorites at the time of the clip including the video game Rock Band, the movie Twilight, and playing competitive kickball.

At this time, Cristy’s family members have yet to comment on her death. However, popular Bachelor Nation blogger Reality Steve (real name: Steve Carbone) took to Twitter to express his shock and grief. “Sick to my stomach to see that Cristy Caserta from Brad Womack’s 2nd season has suddenly passed away. Cristy was always there to give me legal advice in the past. I’m at a loss after seeing people post on her FB. Just spoke a couple weeks ago. RIP my friend,” he wrote.

Many fans of the franchise flocked to Steve’s post to offer words of comfort and support as well. “Sorry for the loss of your friend, Steve.  May she rest in peace,” one user wrote. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Cristy’s friends, family, and loved ones at this time.
