Friendship goals! Selena Gomez penned the sweetest message to her BFF Theresa Marie Mingus after she launched her new swimsuit company named Krahs. The singer took to Instagram on April 29 to gush about how proud she is of her pal and longtime personal assistant.

“I met Theresa [five] years ago. We worked together and became best friends,” the 26-year-old began the lengthy caption of a cozy black-and-white photo of the two ladies.

According to a Linkedin account of a person with the same name and work credentials, Theresa started personal assisting for the songstress in May 2014 and was with her for over four years. Before that, she worked with Kim Kardashian and Robin Antin, creator of the Pussycat Dolls.

Their relationship quickly turned into a sacred friendship. “She has taught me how to see life in a fun, carefree and uplifting way. She has shown me how to be a strong and fearless woman,” Selena continued her post.

Theresa recently launched Krahs Swim (pronounced Cross) and the pop star is obviously beaming with pride. The “Wolves” singer raved, “She is beautiful, kind and smart. I saw how capable she was of achieving her dreams. I wanted nothing more than to see her pursue them and soar. And here you are making it happen, T. I love you and I am so proud of you.”

The dreamy swim brand’s name is actually “shark” spelled backward, which explains the toothy logo. “I’ve always had this weird fixation with sharks,” Theresa noted in an explainer video about her brand on Instagram. “It started when I was little and lived with my mom and she would literally let me watch anything I wanted and I binged watched all of the Jaws movies.” She confessed about the aesthetic, “I wanted to incorporate shark bites and I wanted the fossil mouthes to be my logo. I just thought it was cool.”

As far as who she pictures wearing her brand, the designer wanted to build a line for everyone to feel their best. She said, “There’s no one specific but everyone wants to feel sexy. Every woman wants to feel confident and beautiful. I definitely want to have a variety of different pieces so everyone can wear them.”
