Does Colton Dump Cassie After Hometowns? Here’s What’s Up With That Emotional Teaser
You OK, fam? The Bachelor has taken a very dramatic turn and it looks like no one is safe. Colton Underwood has four remaining contestants heading into hometowns: Hannah G., Caelynn, Tayshia and Cassie. However, recent teasers make things look very rocky between the leading man and front-runner Cassie. What the heck is going on? Keep reading to find out. Caution: Spoilers for the remainder of the season below!
Colton makes his way out to Huntington Beach, California, to visit Cassie’s hometown. While there, he meets her parents and her dad seems very reluctant about their relationship. “You’re 23. You don’t have to rush into anything,” the blonde beauty’s dad reminds her during a private conversation between the two of them.
At this point, Cassie acknowledges that she doesn’t know if she is going to get engaged, but added, “I wouldn’t be here right now if I didn’t see potential.”
She obviously took her dad’s words to heart because the finale goes much different than anyone could’ve expected, according to Reality Steve. Caelynn gets kicked off after hometowns leaving Tayshia, Hannah G. and Cassie competing for the final rose.
Colton does go on an overnight date with Tayshia in Portugal. After his final date with Cassie, he decides that she is the one he wants to spend his life with. He sends Hannah home without a final outing and supposedly also sends Tayshia home at the same time.
However, Cassie’s reaction is the twist. At some point, she gets overwhelmed with the idea of getting engaged and leaves the show. This is when the football player probably jumps over the fence (finally!).
According to the gossip outlet, Colton does end up chasing after Cassie. It’s rumored that the couple didn’t end up getting engaged but they are still dating. Whew!
