Meghan Markle’s Facialist Swears By These 2-Ingredient DIY Face Masks

It’s not just pregnancy that gives Meghan Markle that jealousy-inducing glow. The Duchess has flawless skin but it doesn’t come without a little maintenance. The famed facialist of the newly minted royal (and other huge celebs like Priyanka Chopra and Gwyneth Paltrow) Nichola Joss shared the simplest two-ingredient face masks that you’ll for sure want to try this weekend.

While silk pillowcases, sanitizing your phone (yes, a lot of germs live on there), and pricey products can help keep your complexion clear, there’s no replacing a great face mask with natural and powerful ingredients. The best part? You don’t need to break the bank to get your glow on.

The base of mask one starts with two tablespoons of coconut oil because “it creates a soothing, paste-like consistency,” Nichola explained to Refinery 29Next, add one teaspoon of turmeric which is “calming and helps relieve inflammation and congestion.” Slather the mixture on your face for fifteen minutes before you shower, rinse off, and enjoy your brighter and more hydrated skin.

The second mask is a “gentle physical exfoliant” that will help with acne and soothe inflammation. Combine a spoonful of the nature’s antibacterial powerhouse (aka honey) with one-quarter cup of oats. Stir the two ingredients together and massage into damp skin.

“At-home face masks are amazing, and I fully endorse them,” Nichola dished. “They’re easy, free, and you have full control of the ingredients you’re putting on your skin, which is why most of my clients love them.”

Before becoming a royal, Meghan shared many of her favorite beauty products like Nars blush in Orgasm and Make Up For Ever HD Powder. However, no product can compete with a healthy complexion and clean skin.

Luckily, we can all tap into Meghan’s tricks by digging in our pantries. Now, let’s all get that Markle sparkle!
