Currently pregnant with baby number two, former Bachelorette star Ali Fedotowsky was already planning on having a hectic holiday. Add in moving, and then not moving because their new house wasn’t finished, and then planning a spur of the moment trip, and she and husband Kevin Manno have had on a lot on their plates. But somehow, they’re managing to juggle everything. Even if they occasionally fall a little behind schedule.

“I feel like every time I text somebody, it starts with, ‘I’m sorry for the delay in getting back to you, but…'” Ali explained while promoting the Chase Marriott Rewards Premier Credit Card. “That’s how every single one of my texts starts, because I’m always just struggling to keep up. I don’t know what the heck I’m gonna do when another baby comes along because it’s just gonna be insanity.” She’s mentally preparing, but there’s still a lot of work to do — and honestly, Ali’s not sure exactly when she became a grown up in the first place.

“[It’s] like what? When did this happen?” she jokes. “I still think of myself as being able to go out and day drink on a Sunday with all of my friends, you know, and then take a nap at 1 p.m. But that’s just not my life anymore… You feel like, ‘I’m never gonna grow up, I’m a kid, I’m a kid, I’m a kid. I don’t feel like a grown up.’ And then once you have kids, you’re like, ‘Aw, s–t, I’m a grown up.'”

But it’s not just suddenly being responsible for someone else’s life that scares her. It’s also trying to juggle all the other responsibilities that come with that. “I love being a mom, but me and my sister keep saying like how insane it is that I’m going to be a mother to two kids now. It just does not seem real. And honestly, I’m terrified, I’m panicked, because I feel like… one kid is a lot for me. It’s been definitely a huge adjustment becoming a mom. I have a really, really hard time with time management. I take on way too many projects, I can’t say no to anybody, so I feel like between work and being a mom and personal life, I just feel like I’m really struggling to keep my head above water.”

Luckily, she’s getting in some practice this holiday season while visiting with her mom, sister, brother, and two little nieces — one of whom is the same age as Ali’s daughter, Molly. “I’m so excited to get [Molly and my niece] together, see them play together, but also I’ll get a little taste of what it’s going to be like when we have two in the future… It’ll be the picture of chaos, but I think kids make the holidays so much more fun, so I’m so excited for it… It’s so fun to watch all the kiddos open presents on Christmas morning.”

They also made a point to take a little “staycation” at the Beverly Hills Marriott to get away from all of the holiday craziness. “If you have a credit card like the Marriott Chase credit card, then you can get points back and you can use them towards a stay at a hotel and have a little mini vacation… [We went to] a pet friendly hotel, which is so important to me. So not only was it me, Kevin and Molly, but our dog Owen got to come and we just ordered a bunch of room service and stayed in and watched movies.”

Kevin’s actually a semi-recent credit card convert — and it was a problem for him and Ali when they were first getting involved. “When I started dating Kevin, he didn’t have a credit card, and I used to joke — and it’s still very true — that there are two deal breakers for me when it comes to dating a guy. If he doesn’t recycle, he’s out… And two, he has to have a credit card.” But these days, Kevin sounds like a model husband — especially when it comes to his wife’s pregnancy struggles.

“The first trimester… I just had a lot of food aversion… If something had a lot of spice in it, or really any flavor whatsoever, I couldn’t stand the smell… I would ask Kevin to eat his dinner outside because it was too stinky for me. So he’d like bring his food into the garage and eat it, the poor guy, because my stomach could not handle the smells of his food.” She says there are other draw-backs to her second pregnancy, too. “I feel like I’m gaining weight faster this pregnancy, which I’m a little nervous about.” But she’s in good company, since Chrissy Teigen, also pregnant with her second baby, feels the same way.

“If Chrissy Teigen feels that way, I feel like it’s okay that I feel that way,” shared Ali. “I look at her and I think that she’s like the most beautiful pregnant woman I’ve ever seen, so I’m happy we’re in the same boat.” And she’s started to feel better, too, leaving the morning sickness behind.

Now, she’s ready to get back to her busy schedule with the help of her phone and Total Wireless Shared Family Plan. “I live and die by my cell phone. I do everything — I write my blogs from my cell phone, Kevin and I made our schedules. My calendar on my cell phone is everything to me, so I feel like it’s so so important that you have a provider or network that you can rely on… Kevin and I have the Shared Family Plan on Total Wireless, which is only $25 a month per line… I love a budget friendly anything.”

Though she’s nervous to be a mom of two and all the extra work that comes with it, the Bachelorette is definitely ready for one thing: Janu-Arie. “I’m super excited for his season. Mostly because I just don’t feel as old anymore!” she joked.

“[Arie Luyendyk Jr. is] just such a good guy and I feel like it’s nice that [the bachelor is] someone older and he knows what he wants. I like that after he was on the show, he went about and did his own thing and kind of stepped away from all of the crazy Hollywood limelight stuff. I feel like now he’s back at the right time for him… I know that everybody’s not as super happy about it, but I think that they will be once they see Arie come January.”

“And let’s face it,” Ali said. “People might say that they’re not going to watch it, but everybody’s gonna watch. True Bachelor fans… we can’t resist.”
