It’s no secret that Kelly Clarkson is one of the most talented singers in the game, and as it turns out, her net worth reflects just that. According to Celebrity Net Worth, The Voice coach is worth an estimated $28 million. That’s certainly enough dough to make anyone want to hit those high notes!

Question is, how does the 36-year-old powerhouse make her money? Well, Kelly makes her fortune in a number of different ways. As mentioned, she has been a coach on The Voice since Season 14 where she brings in some serious bucks. Radar reported that Kelly is being paid about $14 million per season deal.

Why so much? Well, the new American Idol aired the same year, and there was allegedly a bidding war for which show would get her on the cast. The Voice won out, so producers offered her the second-largest salary ever for it. Speaking of American Idol, Kelly was the first winner of the series and has since gone on to put out eight studio albums.

In addition, the now-mother-of-two has been on seven world tours, with another — the Meaning of Life Tour — coming in 2019. Kelly has also raked in a number of accolades to solidify her status (and pay rate) as a pop legend, including three Grammy Awards, three MTV Video Music Awards, four American Music Awards, and two Academy of Country Music Awards. Not too shabby, huh?

More recently, however, the music sensation has confirmed that her very own TV series, The Kelly Clarkson Show, is official! “I love connecting with people, playing games, music and finding ways to help or give back to communities/organizations,” Kelly said of the upcoming hour-long eponymous show, according to The Hollywood Reporter. “Having my own talk show where I get to do all of these things is pretty much a dream job!” she gushed.

The series — set to air in the fall of 2019 — will take over Steve Harvey’s show Steve’s 2 p.m. EST time slot and will also be a lead-in to The Ellen DeGeneres Show. How exciting! We have no doubt that Kelly will quickly become one of talk TV’s biggest (and most beloved) personalities.

In the meantime, be sure to catch her on new episodes of The Voice every Monday and Tuesday night at 8 p.m. EST on NBC.
