Kim Kardashian Reportedly ‘Hasn’t Changed At All’ Two Years After Being Robbed in Paris
It was seriously scary news when everyone found out that Kim Kardashian had been tied up, gagged, and robbed in Paris two years ago. We can’t even imagine how it must have felt for the reality star. But according to reports, there haven’t been too many lasting effects for the Kardashian. Sources have told Radar that, despite all the stars claims right after the crime that things would never be the same, her life hasn’t actually changed all that much.
“Kim changed for like one minute,” an inside source told Radar, with other friends alleging that she “hasn’t changed at all.” The source continued, “She was great at playing the victim role until the attack aired on the following season of KUWTK. But almost immediately after that she started to go right back to her self-absorbed lifestyle.”
The insider seems to be claiming that she leaned into the drama for ratings and attention, but when it was inconvenient, she went right back to bad habits that she’d had before the attack. That’s counter to the reports that Kim has been suffering from anxiety and PTSD following the attack. Other sources close to the family told Radar last year that “Kim will most likely not be returning to Paris for a very, very long time… [She’s] still dealing with the trauma.”
The rest of the Kardashian family also spoke out not long after the robbery. “It’s a process,” mom Kris Jenner said at the time. “One day at a time. It’s a process.” Sister Khloé Kardashian added that Keeks was “not doing that well,” and said, “I mean, it’s incredibly traumatic what happened to her… But our family is super close and great and we’ll get through it together, and we do appreciate all of your guys’ love and support and it will take time. You know, it was horrible what happened to her.”
Now, Radar reports that the reality star seems to have swept past it all without any real issues. “Everything that Kim said is complete bull***t! She has done the exact opposite of what she said she was going to do and is flashier now than ever before,” the source said. “She never talks about the robbery anymore and when she does she says that she was ‘saved’ for a reason, which was to help the less fortunate.”
For the record, the Kardashian is doing work to help the less fortunate. She’s become an advocate for prison reform and has even met with President Trump to help a woman named Alice Marie Johnson get clemency and be released from prison. But the source doesn’t think her intentions are 100% pure. “The only reason she did that was because she wants to be in the White House bad.”
They’ve also alleged that Keeks’ family agrees, leading to some of the tension that we saw boil over in the KUWTK season premiere and spill onto social media. “Kim only thinks of Kim and that never will change,” said the insider. “Her sisters, especially Kourtney [Kardashian], believe she is worse now than before the robbery.”
