TThere’s a brand-new awards show on the scene, as the People’s Choice Country Awards makes its debut on Thursday, September 28. The event being held at Nashville’s iconic Grand Ole Opry House and fan-voted awards will be handed out to some of country music’s biggest names, in addition to performances and tributes.

Along with plenty of sequins and fringe, there should be some looks coming fresh off the runways of the recent fashion weeks going on in New York and Europe, so some new designer looks could be seen for the first time on a red carpet.

Kimberly Schlapman of Little Big Town wore a gown made of WAY too many layers in a terrible color.

It truly is hard to remember the last time the “Heartfirst” songstress got it wrong on the red carpet, as she came up a winner once again in a black sequin minidress with an open back. Kelsea’s idol Shania Twain would be proud.

The “Next Girl” singer definitely brought the fringe, but it was so much she bordered on looking like a flapper costume.

The former Bachelorette looked just like her days back in the mansion on rose night, rocking a glittering gown with a diagonal chest cutout.

The Little Big Town singer has the voice of an angel and this gold and black flowing dress with a high slit looked really elegant yet so comfy.

Since this is the first PCC Awards, some stars like Mickey went with a more business casual look, which she pulled off in this stylish tweed jacket and miniskirt.

The “Never Til Now” singer showed off her toned abs in a stylish white pantsuit with a shiny satin bralette underneath.

Caitlynne Curtis — Worst

The “Fell Outta Love” songstress also donned a pantsuit with a much different approach. Purple and hot pink are never a a good combo and feathery fabric on the lapel and pant legs hems made this look even worse.

Meghan Patrick — Worst

The Canadian singer-songwriter went all-in when it came to a classic “country” look with a jean jacket featuring silver fringed and a black cowboy hat. But the ensemble — along with a dark spray tan — was a bit much.
