Fans Think Cazzie David ‘Won The Breakup’ Following Pete Davidson’s Split From Ariana Grande
Before Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande took the world by storm with their whirlwind romance — and later, whirlwind breakup — the SNL star dated Larry David’s daughter, Cazzie David, for almost three years.
At the time of their split, many people assumed that Pete left Cazzie for Ariana. However, the 24-year-old insisted that there was no overlap between the relationships. According to reports, he pulled a major Ross Geller move and said: “They were on a break.” LOL. Classic.
Even still, fans have since flocked to Cazzie’s Instagram following Pete and Ariana’s recent breakup to badmouth her former flame.
“So I don’t know you.. but this is a perfect example of how karma always gets to you in the end. Seriously, you won,” one user commented. “You go, girl! You won TF outta that breakup,” wrote another.
In addition to all the congratulatory messages, it seems that some people took Cazzie’s newest post as an opportunity to warn her against getting back with her ex. Seriously, y’all, there are hundreds of comments telling the 24-year-old to “stay away.”
“Don’t get back with him, queen,” commented one user sweetly. Unfortunately, very few others followed in suit. “If you take that f—ing sh–bag back, I’m going to call your daddy,” added another.
What makes all of this attention on Cazzie particularly confusing is that in the five months since she and Pete called it quits, she has never publicly commented on what went down between the pair, Pete’s once-engagement to Ariana, or how she felt about it.
At the end of the day, it looks like Cazzie has moved on and TBH, we sincerely doubt she has any intention of getting back together with Pete. In the meantime, here’s hoping Pete has found that roommate he was so desperately searching for.
