Pink Shut Down Christina Aguilera’s Advances When They Played Spin The Bottle and We’re Living For It
Not into it? Christina Aguilera sat down with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live and dished on her past tension with Pink. As it turns out, she wasn’t interested in kissing and making up at the time. The songstress shared a hilarious story about the two playing spin-the-bottle at a club when the “So What” singer denied her advances.
In 2017, the 39-year-old “Beautiful Trauma” artist appeared on WWHL and claimed that the 38-year-old blonde bombshell “swung on her.” However, Christina’s recollection of that night didn’t quite match up.
“I seem to have a different memory of a night we had at a club where we played spin-the-bottle. I have a love memory!” the “Beautiful” singer gushed. “Look at her, look at me. I wouldn’t swing on her. She could beat my a— are you kidding me? She could really beat my a— then!” The Pennsylvania native is in incredible shape, so we understand the point.
Apparently, there wasn’t much loving to be had because the spunky songstress shut down the pop queen’s advances. “I was excited about a kiss. I was like, ‘Oh, kissin’ all’s good!’ She put her hand up like this and I was like, ‘Oh, that’s what we’re doing? Alright.’ She don’t wanna get dirrty,” the “Genie in a Bottle” artist admitted.
The “Come on Over” songbird revealed that Pink had some “feelings” about the way “Lady Marmalade” was recorded in 2001. During an appearance on Vh1’s Behind the Music, she recounted standing up to Xtina’s manager while during a planning meeting.
“Ron Fair walked in. He didn’t say hi to any of us and said, ‘What’s the high part? What’s the most singing part? Christina’s going to take that part.’ And I stood up, and I said ‘Hi. How are you? So nice of you to introduce yourself. I’m Pink,” the mom-of-two said at the time. “‘She will not be taking that part. I think that’s what the f—g meeting’s about.'”
Christina insisted to the Bravo host that any beef between the two has been squashed. They’re probably not at a kissing place quite yet, though.
