Welcome back? Tahzjuan Hawkins returns to find love during season 6 of Bachelor in Paradise. The contestant from Colton Underwood‘s season joins the crew on the beach before the third rose ceremony, but it looks like her time in Mexico is a little bumpy. When the Colorado native first appeared in Bachelor Nation, she worked as a business development associate for Lyft. She didn’t get a ton of camera time during The Bachelor, but it looks she’ll be going through some things — including a medical scare — on Paradise. Caution: Spoilers for the August 26 and 27 episodes of Paradise are below.
Tahzjuan is one of the new arrivals on the beach and asks John Paul Jones out on a date, according to Reality Steve. It doesn’t seem to go anywhere because teaser clips show the reality babe having what looks to be a full meltdown on the beach. “I’m over this s—, it’s f—ing hot,” she can be seen saying in an exclusive People clip while drinking an orange beverage. “I don’t even think I could put eyeliner on right now. I don’t know how to brush my hair anymore. If I pass out, don’t let me go. I can still be alive.” Reality Steve claims that Tahzjuan has a very short stay in Mexico and is sent home during the following rose ceremony.
Tayshia Adams, a fellow contestant from Colton’s season, weighs in on Tahzjuan’s tough stay in Paradise. “Personally, I feel bad for Tahzjuan. It must be really hard coming into this group of people that are making connections and are a little bit further along, even in their friendships,” she said in a private interview.
Tahzjuan asking out JPJ isn’t the only thing that shakes up his blooming relationship with Tayshia. Considering many other people are already coupled up, he is a hot commodity and also gets taken on a date by newcomer Haley Ferguson. However, the real trouble seems to be Derek Peth hitting it off with the gorgeous contestant — they can be seen making out in plenty of promo videos. This love triangle that’s brewing leads to Derek and JPJ getting into an explosive fight during what looks to be Krystal Neilson and Chris Randone‘s wedding.
One thing is for sure: There’s no shortage of drama this season on Paradise.
