There Could be Trouble
Although it’s great to see the choreographer back at work, her 12 hour days are becoming worrisome. “She is stretching herself too thin,” a source close to the reality star told Radar. “She is working from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.”

Can’t Slow Her Down
“Her doctors are telling her to stop … But she needs the show and the money for a comeback,” the source claimed. This is not the first time insiders close to the reality star have admitted that her health professionals have concerns.

Against Doctor’s Orders?
A separate source previously told Radar, “Abby is acting very tough, but doctors are not confident it’s the right time to leave her treatment in Los Angeles to head to Pittsburgh for a TV show … She is going against doctors wishes and going back to work.”
Abby posted a photo of herself after a flight to Pittsburgh, where the show originally began filming in season 1, so she obviously made one leg of the trip safe and sound. The ladies headed to the city for a dance competition.

Still Feeling “Weak”
“Her body is not ready to be back in it,” the second source admitted. “They are scared it’s too much work and traveling. She needs more physical therapy. It’s still a long road for Abby.”
A doctor who treated her in the hospital confirmed that if she was not rushed to the hospital when she was, the dance coach would have died.

Heartbreaking Trailer
The season 8 teaser showed pieces of Abby’s battle with illness and it’s so emotional. “I was ready to go back to work and start my life over, and now I can’t even walk!” she cried.

“I need to get back to teaching and I need to get back to screaming at children. I need to get back to my roots,” she declared about wanting to return to the studio.

She triumphantly told her dancers, “There’s people that counted me out. They thought I was finished — considered the ALDC dead. Well, I fought hard to be here … you have to be a fighter, too!”

Abby uses a motorized wheelchair to get around but shared with her social media followers that she is slowly learning to walk again.

“Just put one foot in front of the other and soon you’ll be walking out the door!” she captioned a video of herself walking on a treadmill during physical therapy.

People have been rallying to support the celebrity. “Go Abby! Your [SIC] such an inspiration to me, along with many other people. Keep going Abby!” one user said. Another person gushed, “Made my day! Keep pushing.”
